My sponsor is always telling me to feed my recover

[glow=green,32,300]Each day, our Higher Power gives us 2 great gifts. One is being clean. The other is the power of choice. On a daily basis, we may not consistantly make the choice to feed our recovery. Sometimes, we engage in a battle with our recovery and our disease. All too often, the disease wins, resulting in acting out or feeding the beast. If you're like me, the disease is scary and manifests itself in a wide variety of ways. I'm always plagued with, "How the hell am I going to slay the beast?" The answer I always receive, with a smile, is "Feed your recovery."
Just for today, I will try to find some way to feed my recovery so that my disease lies dormant.
